The above Bible verse is actually preceded by a specific condition that of which we shall first stop all wrong and unethical behavior displeasing to God such as hypocrisy, lies, manipulation, jealousy, fornication, adultery, selfishness, dishonesty, disrespectful habits such as discrimination ect.


From there, what we choose to speak (declare) as stated in the scripture, will manifest, and light will shine on our ways (meaning we will be guided to the successful accomplishment of our spoken desires) obviously these must be in line with God's words, God's will and God's guidelines.

Essentially, it means that with simply our words,we can shape our lives to be wonderful and realize our most profound dreams, that's how much power our words have.

• Not long ago, on a family trip, I made a bad joke about forgetting our wallet in the Tourist Bus, turns out we forgot an entire luggage, obviously, thanks be to God, we recovered it in less than 24 hours, but it speaks volume about the power of our words.  Therefore, positive declarations are to be observed constantly.

Pray: Lord please help me abandon the lifestyle that is unfitting to your desires ,teach and guide me to be positioned for light to shine on my ways, so that I enjoy the fruit of a life where joy and peace are abundant, I want to trust you, to you I commit my spirit,be my Lord and Savior,Amen.
