Kick out your rage and anger
Proverbs 29:11 ERV
Fools are quick to express their anger, but wise people are patient and control themselves.
The book of Proverbs was written by Solomon, whom God loved due to his great wisdom.
Solomon was the son of the King of Israel named David
He was so wise that God blessed him with great wealth so that he could help God's people, the population.
The book of Proverbs has great advices about the do's and don'ts of life, the book contains 31 proverbs .
I suggest that for one month you read one daily to enrich your quality of life.
Kick out your rage and anger
Yes it happens to everyone to be angry, frustrated and even in rage but does anger truly solve the source of it?
As parents, our children can get us infuriated but if we respond with anger are we being good role models and good parents?
Life situations, people, work, traffic, weather , unexpected events can disappoint us but we do not have the obligation to respond with anger.
Our response to life situations determines our state of peace, joy and happiness as well as the course of life, and outcomes we encounter.
Next time you feel angry, take time to relax, to focus on your breathing, and then think about what is making you feel angry and tell yourself anger is not the solution, I am going to relax and think about something else once I relax, I will find a solution.
If you are near someone whom frustrated you, choose silence over raising your voice or speaking harsh words.
Once calmed we find better responses, we behave better and reap better results, better relationships and so forth.
I invite you to download the Bible Application Youversion and to dive into the wise world of Proverbs.
Have a blessed week
