The Power of Free will

Philemon 1:14 CSB

But I didn’t want to do anything without your consent, so that your good deed might not be out of obligation, but of your own free will.

Free will, is described as our freedom to make our own choices and decisions.

Did you ever stop to wonder why is the world suffering so much, wars,hate, corruption,violence,lack,abuse,
lies,injustice, pain ect... Despite God being part of it all?

Simple, its due to the power of free will.

We are thought that God will judge our souls once we die, and based on our actions we may Go to hell or to Heaven.

This implies that we make our own decisions, which have consequences.

Therefore, if God is not controling our every move, and if we aren't his Muppets, its normal that we must make wise choices.

The suffering the world witnesses is the fruit of misued free will, and at times interventions would become a conflict of interest with people's free will.

For this reason, God will act in some cases and not in others.

For the same reason, God seeks for us to use our free will to be on his side, to bring peace and joy back to how he envisioned it initially.

Before humanity became self-absorbed, greedy and careless!

When you choose God, he gives you guidance to avoid calamity, however you still have to choose to listen.

I encourage you to pray with me: Jesus Lord today, I'm ready to give you ruling over my life, guide me to become your willing servant until my last day,  lead my life Amen.
