The Secret of True Happiness & Joy

Today I want to share a chapter of my life, growing up, I was always different from others, I refused to be a sheep merely following the masses rather, I made my own path independently of anyone's opinion.

My entire family spent endless hours criticising everything I did because they couldn't understand me. It's then that my friends became my family, the family that encouraged me, understood me and made me realize the importance in how my difference was where my light was shining.

Between the dream killers and the naysayers, I escaped in beautiful literatures, fairytales and found joy in doing to others what I longed to see others do for me.

I wanted to be the friend I wished I had by my side, I escaped my reality by digging, in others problems.

I soon became the therapist, the matchmaker, the cheerleader and the one stop shop of my surrounding.

It brought me joy, happiness and a mission which later also became my career.

Soon enough, I had moved out from my toxic environment and never had to look back, achieving one dream after another . 

Somehow, my happiness and joy made my critics realize how wrong they were.

I didn't have to fight them, I only needed to be me.

Perhaps, you are dealing with similar feelings or situation, trust me, if you learn to focus on helping others with your time, your advice, your skills, knowledge, insights and passion, it doesn't need to be money, but if you can help with your money, do that to, you will find your own happiness along the way.

The blessing we get from being generous, from being an angel to others , from caring for others above our own needs , is called Happiness.

Don't wait for the Holidays and for Christmas to be kind and Happy do it all year long and find your own path to joy and happiness, this is the real secret to success.
