Watch your Circle!
Micah 7:6 CSB
Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
Watch your Circle!
Often times, we see people be extra careful with strangers and than get betrayed by the ones they've suspected the least and trusted the most.
Their close circle.
It's a sad tragedy but it's also a widespread reality.
Does it mean do not trust anyone?
Does it mean do not trust your loved ones?
Not at all!
Therefore what does it mean?
It means be careful on the information you share, and keep sensitive matters for very selective people, you should not share your spouse flaws with anyone, nor should you share your children shortcomings to other people or your bank account balance.
You should keep your dreams sheltered until they come to pass and should be selective about what you share and with whom you share it,once you share information with someone else than yourself, it's no longer within your control be wise about what you choose to share and with whom.
This is why this Bible verse is genius:
Surely a son considers his father a fool, a daughter opposes her mother, and a daughter-in-law is against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
It advising you that the most dangerous people can be the closest one , those whom have the most influential relationship with you and hold enough data to harm you.
It's useless to spend your life gossiping about your spouse, your children and detailing your private life to then have the same people in whom you confide use it against you when you least expect it.
It may never happen but if and when it does it's already too late!
The best thing you can do is to be careful with what you share and to whom.
