Perception

Proverbs 3:1‭, ‬5 

My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Today I want to speak about perception as life is all about perception.

One may look at a plate and see his favourite food whereas another, whom is allergic to the same food, will see dangerous food.

In all reality, it is the same plate but based on their situation, circumstances and limitations, they will have different perceptions.


God asks of our full trust in him, as, in a world with billions of people, in different roles and positions, our lives are constantly affected by others perceptions.

People will make decisions that can affect one's life based on their own perception.

And we ,on the other side may not understand the decision but must still deal with the repercussions of such decisions and this create disappointment as well as discontentment and in turn, frustrations.

But by trusting God and following his above advice, not to lean on our own understanding , we can find strength to let go of our need to control and understand , instead , rather follow God's instruction that is ,to live righteously  by being kind,forgiving and to observe faith and patience as we deal with daily unexpected situations.

We may not understand why or how but, lets trust that in due time ,what we must know will be known and that everything has its purpose for happening.
